Starting 19th october Reliance Jio is going to revise its tariff plans for prepaid customers. Reliance Jio has raised the price of 84 day plan to Rs 459 from existing rate of Rs 399. The customers will get same benefits of 1Gb data per day, free voice calls and free SMS for 84 days on recharge of Rs 459. However customers will also be able to recharge Rs. 399 pack, but the validity of this offer will be for 70 days with same benefits. These new Jio plans will be effective 19th october onwards both for new and existing users.
The validity of Rs. 509 plan which offers 2GB high speed net will also be curtailed to 49 days from 56 days and the data for this plan has been reduced to 98GB from 112 GB. Rs 999 plan which offered 90 GB of 4G data will now offer 60 GB data with same validity of 90 days under the new scheme. Rs 1999 plan which will offer now 125GB(data reduced from 155GB) data without speed restrictions with 6 months validity. 360 days plan of Rs. 4999 will now offer 250GB data instead of 380GB earlier.
However Jio has increased the data of Rs. 149 plan from 2Gb to 4GB with 0.15Gb daily limit valid for 28 days. Jio also has reduced the data allocation of the Rs. 19 pack (with 1-day validity) from 200MB to 150MB. Jio has introduced two low value plans for Rs 52 and Rs. 98. Rs. 52 plan will offer 1.05 GB data with 0.15Gb daily limit and 70 SMS for 7 days while Rs. 98 plan will 2.1GB high speed data with daily usage limit of 0.15GB and 140 SMS valid for 14 days. Both these plans will have free unlimited local and STD calls for validity period.
For postpaid customers, Jio has five plans. Rs 309 plan with 30GB data with 1GB daily cap, Rs 409 plan with 20GB data with no daily usage limit. The Rs 509 and Rs 799 plan will have 60 GB with 2GB daily limit and 90GB with 3GB daily limit respectively. Rs 999 plan will offer 60GB of data with no daily restriction. All these plans will have unlimited free voice calls, SMS and access to Jio Apps.
